“Away From Home” is a digital art collection centered on the Caretta caretta sea turtles, who consider Türkiye their “home” within the Mediterranean basin.

The collection consists of five unique artworks created using recorded geolocation data documenting the mystical journeys of these sea turtles, which have long been monitored and protected by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of the Republic of Türkiye.

Through data-driven artistic interpretation, the project transforms scientific tracking information into a poetic visual narrative bridging nature, migration, and digital expression.
